How I Unlocked Cyberpunk 2077's Secret Mackinaw Demiurge Monster Truck
Grab Cyberpunk 2077's secret Mackinaw Demiurge monster truck via the FF:06:B5 puzzle—choose the quick Protein Farm route or full desert ritual.
I never expected a glorified monster truck to become one of my favorite rides in Night City, but the Mackinaw Demiurge is exactly that. I originally ignored the FF:06:B5 puzzle. After finally deciding to chase it in 2026, I discovered that Cyberpunk 2077 still hides one of its strangest secrets behind a rural farm, an old arcade cabinet, and a mattress in the desert.

The good news is that there are two ways to get the truck. The shorter path gives you the vehicle without solving the entire FF:06:B5 mystery. The full version adds extra story beats and one of the weirdest encounters I have ever had in the game. Since Update 2.0 and Phantom Liberty arrived, the puzzle has only become more elaborate.
Short Route 🚛
The shorter route begins at a Protein Farm in the Biotechnica Flats. It is far outside Night City, so I had to drive out there. I looked for a church building with a small attached garage.

Inside the abandoned church, I found a row of servers, a laptop on a raised platform, and an Arasaka Tower 3D arcade machine. I waited or skipped time until just before 4 AM. Then I turned on and used the laptop at exactly 4 AM. I made sure to read every message and file on it.

After that, I interacted with the Arasaka Tower 3D arcade cabinet. It plays like a retro shooter. I did not even need to beat the game for the short method. Simply interacting with the machine was enough.

Next, I drove to a spot in the Badlands. The map marker led me to a lone mattress in the middle of nowhere. I had V stand on top of the mattress and waited. Eventually, V started coughing, collapsed, and blacked out. A mysterious stranger appeared for a moment. When V woke up again, the Mackinaw Demiurge was parked right ahead. I took the wheel and claimed it.

That short version is fine if you only want the truck. I wanted the full experience, so I reloaded an earlier save and tackled the FF:06:B5 puzzle completely.
Full Puzzle 🔐
The full method starts the same way: go to the Protein Farm and boot up the arcade machine. This time, I actually played through the shooter until I reached Floor 52 or Stage 3.

I shot pixelated Arasaka soldiers, followed corridors, and watched out for sword-wielding enemies. I entered MRPHY's high-score room first, then exited. Later, I found BLCKHND's high-score room. I waited there until the in-game timer dropped to 272 seconds and the hotbar icon changed to a padlock.
That unlocked a new path. I backtracked and eventually reached a secret room with numbered alcoves. Even numbers sat on the left and odd numbers on the right. I entered the code 240891 by walking toward each number in sequence. The padlock icon lit up and unlocked.

Then I found an elevator that took me down to Floor 10. That floor is a maze with false walls and a time limit. I got lost more than once. Community-made maps helped me find a route. The maze can be brutal if you only have a few minutes left, so I suggest moving quickly but carefully.

After finishing the maze, I took the elevator down to the next floor. At that point, I did not need to win or lose. I exited the arcade machine and checked the servers on the back wall. Each server now had an active keypad.

The servers only accepted codes at 4 AM. From left to right, the codes are:
| Server Position | Code |
|---|---|
| 1 | 327670 |
| 2 | 318308 |
| 3 | 527766 |
| 4 | 727862 |
| 5 | 632495 |
| 6 | 240 |
| 7 | 108850 |
| 8 | 204217 |
I entered the codes from left to right and heard a confirmation noise. Then I opened the laptop and checked the third file. That gave me coordinates to the same mattress in the desert.

I stood on the mattress and waited. This time, V's blackout sequence was longer. I saw glowing yellow cubes and a warning that said to trust no one. It was genuinely unsettling.

When V woke up, the Mackinaw Demiurge was parked directly ahead. A nearby laptop had cryptic messages. I still do not think the community has fully explained every detail of FF:06:B5, but the truck is real and yours to keep.

Even in 2026, this secret is worth experiencing. The short path scratches the itch if you just want the free vehicle. The full path feels like stepping into a completely different kind of Night City mystery. Just remember to save before the arcade segment, keep an eye on that 272-second timer, and be patient on the mattress.
